Who we are

This site is operated by No Kat Food Limited, a private company limited by shares, registered in Ireland (company no. 804611), registered office 17 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, D04 PW27, Ireland. For anything in this policy, contact hello@nokatfood.ie. No Kat Food Limited is the data controller for the limited processing described below.

What the website collects

Nothing that identifies you. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising or tracking technologies, and no forms. We do not build profiles of visitors or share anything with advertisers — because we collect nothing to share.

Your theme preference

If you use the light/dark toggle, we save that single choice ("light", "dark" or "auto") in your browser's local storage so the site can remember it on your next visit. It contains no personal data, never leaves your device, and is never sent to us or anyone else. Because it only stores a preference you set yourself, it does not require consent under the ePrivacy rules. If you never touch the toggle, nothing is stored; you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Technical delivery

Like any website, ours has to be delivered over the internet by a hosting and content-delivery provider (Amazon Web Services). To serve a page, that infrastructure necessarily processes your IP address and request in transit. We have not enabled access logging, so we do not retain this data or use it to identify you.

If you email us

If you contact us at hello@nokatfood.ie, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to respond and to manage any resulting work. Email is handled on our behalf by our email hosting provider, which may process it within the EU/EEA or in a country covered by an EU adequacy decision. We keep correspondence only as long as needed for the enquiry and any related business or legal record-keeping.

Legal basis

Where we process the contents of an email, the legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to seek its rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these, email us at the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Changes

If we ever add anything that changes this — analytics, a contact form, server logs — we will update this page and its date before doing so.
